INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Johnson & Wales University women's lacrosse team is back in the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row. The Wildcats will go on the road Saturday to take on 15th-ranked Catholic University.
The game will be played at Rowan University, game time is TBA. The winner will take on the host Profs.
Johnson & Wales comes into the tournament with a 17-2 record and earned the GNAC's automatic qualifying bid by beating Lasell, 20-8, on Saturday. Last year the Wildcats lost 17-8 to Babson in the NCAA Tournament.
The Cardinals earned their way into the tournament with an 18-10 win over Scranton in the Landmark Conference tournament. Catholic has a 13-6 record.
