WINTHROP, Mass. – A pair of convincing wins earned Johnson & Wales University women's lacrosse goalkeeper Cassidy O'Hara some league-wide recognition. She was named GNAC Goalkeeper of the Week.
It's the second time the Mashpee, Mass. native has been honored by the league. She was named Goalkeeper of the Week previously on April 2. Vanessa Pino from Lasell and Norwich's Emily Schromm were named Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively.
O'Hara posted a pair of GNAC victories with a 4.00-goals against average. She stopped 14 of 22 shots for a .636 save percentage, including eight saves in the win over Mount Ida.
Johnson & Wales plays its final non-conference regular season game against Fitchburg State tonight at 6 p.m.
