WINTHROP, Mass. – The weekly honors keep piling up for Johnson & Wales University freshman Dani Lydecker. She was named GNAC Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the fourth time on Monday.
The Valley Cottage, NY native has been named Rookie of the Week more than any other player in the league this year. Mount Ida's Brooke Scahill and Eleanor Garvey were named Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively.
Lydecker notched 13 points in three games. She had four goals and an assist versus Fitchburg State and Norwich. Against Rivier in the GNAC quarterfinals, she recorded a goal and two assists.
Johnson & Wales continues the GNAC Tournament on Tuesday when it hosts Regis at 6 p.m.
