#6 Cadets Too Much for JWU Women’s Ice Hockey 8-2

NORTHFIELD, Vt. – After securing its first postseason home game, the Johnson & Wales University women's ice hockey team couldn't make more history by beating its first ranked opponent. The Wildcats wrapped up the regular season with an 8-2 loss to #6 Norwich University.

Johnson & Wales: 11-10-4, 8-5-3 NEHC

Of Note:
Johnson & Wales pulled even in the second quarter with two goals within four minutes of each other.

Kathryn Mason and Hannah Tracy found the back of the net with Samantha Kawejsza providing the assist on both.

Unfortunately, Ann-Frederique Guay broke the tie with five minutes left in the period then the Cadets scored five times in the final stanza.

Norwich had a 61-20 advantage in shots with JWU goalie Jasmine Mucci turning away a career-high 53 shots.
