JWU Leads All Schools in NEHC All-Academic Selections

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – On the ice, the Johnson & Wales University women's ice hockey team continues to grow in just the program's fourth year. In the classroom, however, the Wildcats have already established themselves with a league-best 15 members of the New England Hockey Conference All-Academic team.

To be eligible for All-Academic recognition, a student must carry a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and have completed one full year at their current institution. Salem State trailed the Wildcats with 14 selections.

Six members of the senior class capped their career by earning academic all-conference honors every year they were eligible. As a team, the Wildcats have a 3.54 GPA.
