Women’s Ice Hockey Comes Up Short Against Franklin Pierce, 4-2

PAWTUCKET, RI. – The Johnson & Wales University women's ice hockey team rallied in the second period, but couldn't come all the back against Franklin Pierce University. The Wildcat fell to the Ravens, 4-2, on Saturday.

Of Note:
Franklin & Pierce got on the board with a pair of goals in the first period from Ann Margaret DiSciscio at 4:11 and then a power play goal at 12:25 by Carolyn Drowne.

Johnson & Wales spotted the Ravens two more goals in the second period before getting within striking distance.

At the 16:25 mark, Hannah Tracy put back a rebound of Drea Westgaard's shot. Tracy has scored in back-to-back games.

Less than two minutes later, Westgaard factored into another goal. On the power play, she slid the puck across the ice to Victoria Perez and she buried in the back of the net.
