CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – As well as Johnson & Wales University women's golf student-athlete Hannah Hall played on the course, she was even more successful in the classroom. She was recognized for her academic efforts with a Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Award.
In order to be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. A native of Farmington, Utah, Hall posted a 3.97 GPA in baking and pastry arts.
During her second season with the Wildcats, Hall dropped her average by nearly 10 strokes to 92.00, which was the second-best rate on the team. She fired a career-low 80 during the Westfield State Invitational. The only student-athlete from the Northeast Women's Golf Conference that was honored by the WGCA, Hall posted five top-10 finishes, including medalist honors against Husson.
