Women’s Golf Places 12th at Williams Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Johnson & Wales University women's golf team concluded the Williams Invitational on Sunday. The Wildcats fired a two-day score of 797 (397-400) to tie Bowdoin for 12th.

NYU won the event with a two-day score of 622.

Recording the lowest 36-hole score for JWU was Alexis Anastos with a 178 (86-92). Senior Hannah Hall knocked five strokes off her first round for a two-day total of 195 (100-95). Junior Caroline Mettler was eight strokes better on Sunday as she posted a score of 212 (110-102). Tying Mettler was senior Hannah Lifschin at 212 (101-111).

Up next for the Wildcats is the Empire 8 Championship, October 6-7, at Ballston Spa CC.
