Women’s Golf in 12th After Day One of Williams Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Johnson & Wales University women's golf team was back on the course Saturday at the Williams Invitational. The Wildcats are in 12th place after the first 18 holes at the Taconic Golf Course.

Johnson & Wales opened with a 397 to come in ahead of Bowdoin College. The host Ephs lead with a 315 to start the tournament.

Providing the Wildcats' low round of the day was Alexis Anastos with an 86 to tie for 33rd. Senior Hannah Hall carded a 100 and Hannah Lifschin was a stroke back. Caroline Mettler rounded out the JWU scores with an opening 110.

The tournament concludes on Sunday with the final 18 holes.
