Women’s Golf in Second at WSU Invitational

WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Johnson & Wales University women's golf team is getting better with every round this spring. The Wildcats tied their season-low with a score of 376 to trail Suffolk by seven strokes at Westfield State Invitational, played at the Tekoa Country Club.

Johnson & Wales improved by six strokes over last week's victory against the host Owls.

Rookie Alexis Anastos led the way, carding a 93 to sit in fourth place. Junior Megan LeBlanc was next in seventh place with a 93. Caroline Mettler posted a score of 96 and Hannah Lifschin was a stroke back.

The Wildcats wrap up the spring season with the final round on Sunday.
