CRANSTON, RI – In its second event of the spring, the Johnson & Wales University women's golf team made a big improvement. The Wildcats defeated Westfield State, 384-412, at the Alpine Country Club.
The 384 is a 13-stroke improvement from last week's match against Rhode Island College.
Freshman Alexis Anastos and junior Megan LeBlanc led the way with a 92. Sophomore Caroline Mettler was next with a 96 and Hannah Lifschin carded a 104.
Johnson & Wales takes on the Owls next Saturday at Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, Mass.
