Women’s Golf Opens Williams Invitational

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Johnson & Wales University women's golf team got back on the links Saturday at the Williams Fall Invitational. The Wildcats are in 17th place with a total of 457 after the first round on the Taconic Golf Course.

Sophomore Megan LeBlanc (Madison, Conn.) had the low round of the day for the Wildcats, carding a 103. Junior Pawntip Prasith (Old Saybrook, Conn.) was next at 114. Junior Megan Janis (Commack, NY) and freshman Hannah Lifschin (Denville, NJ) each posted a score of 120. Rounding out the JWU contingency was rookie Caroline Mettler (Buffton, Ind.) ad 124.

The two-day tournament wraps up with the final 18 holes on Sunday.
