Wildcats Start Fall Campaign At Mount Holyoke

South Hadley, Mass. --- The 2016 season got underway for the Johnson & Wales University women's golf team. The Wildcats started the Mount Holyoke Invitational with a round of 431 at the Orchards Golf Club. JWU is a stroke ahead of Rhode Island College in 12th place.

Leading the way for JWU was sophomore Megan LeBlanc (Madison, Conn.) with a 97. Next was junior Pawntip Prasith (Old Saybrook, Conn.) with a 101. Freshman Hannah Lifschin (Denville, NJ) followed with a 115 and classmate Megan Ogden (Canadaigua, NY) was three shots back at 118. Rounding out the scoring was Megan Janis (Commack, NY) with a 121.

The tournament wraps up on Sunday with the final 18 holes.
