MANWAH, N.J. – The Johnson & Wales University women's basketball team finished the second half on fire and never looked back Saturday. The Wildcats wrapped up the Roadrunner Tip Off Tournament, hosted by Ramapo College, with a 72-55 win over Bryn Athryn.

Johnson & Wales: 2-1
JWU was down 16-13 after the first quarter and trailed 22-21 with 4:04 left in the first half. Maddy Moro keyed a 13-2 run with six points as the Wildcats outscored the Lions 21-8 in the second quarter for a 34-24 halftime advantage.
Moro's play helped the Wildcats dominate inside. Johnson & Wales had a 54-38 rebounding advantage, including 21 offensive boards. JWU also had a 42-14 points in the paint margin.
Four Wildcats reached double figures, topped by Moro who recorded her third double-double in a row with 22 points and 21 rebounds. She was named to the all-tournament team. Britney Gallagher just missed the double-double with 11 points and eight assists.
Johnson & Wales returns home next Saturday to host Clark University at 2 p.m.
