BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Cold shooting did in the Johnson & Wales University women's basketball team on Saturday at Bridgewater State University. The Wildcats dropped a 56-41 decision to the Bears.

Johnson & Wales: 1-12
JWU led 16-14 after the first quarter and only trailed 30-26 going into the half.
An Ally Mishol bucket with 4:24 to play in the third quarter cut the BSU lead to 37-33, but the Wildcats didn't score until three minutes into the final quarter, allowing the Bears to establish a 49-35 lead.
The Wildcats shot 35.1 percent from the floor and went 0-for-8 from three-point range. BSU made seven three-pointers and got 20 points off 17 JWU turnovers.
Dede Stevenson was the only Wildcat in double figures with 10 points. Mishol snared a game-high 11 rebounds.
The Wildcats open conference action Tuesday when they host Norwich at 5:30 p.m.
