Men’s Cross Country Grabs 25th At ECAC’s

The men's cross country team earned a 25th place finish out of 43 teams at the ECAC Northeast Championships at Westfield State University Saturday afternoon.  The Wildcats finished with 681 points on the day while Williams took home the team title with 57 points on the day.

Sophomore Adam Sachs (Ellicott City, Md.), the GNAC Runner of the Year, paced the Wildcats on the 8K course with a time of 27:10, good enough for 66th place out of 300 plus runners. Fellow sophomores Harold Hennessy (Bolton, Conn.) and Alex Melnick (Port Jervis, N.Y.) landed in the top 115 with times of 27:54 and 27:58, respectively. Freshman David Sherman (Yarmouthport, Mass.) and sophomore Brandon Au (Oxford, Conn.) crossed the finish line at the 205th and 206th spots with matching times of 29:38.

The Wildcats will travel to Williams College on November 15th for the NCAA Division III New England Regionals on Saturday, November 15th. The men's race is slated to begin at 11:00 a.m.
