Men's XC Takes Third At Bowdoin Invitational

The men's cross country team notched a third place finish with 112 points at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday while host Bowdoin took home first place with 20 points.

Sophomore Adam Sachs (Ellicott City, Md.) notched a 22nd  place finish with a time of 27:01 over the 8K course while sophomore Alex Melnick (Port Jervis, N.Y.) finished in 33rd place for the Wildcats in a time of 28:23.  Sophomore Brandon Au (Oxford, Conn.) was right behind him with a time of 28:31 which was good for a 35th place finish while fellow sophomore Harold Hennesey (Bolton, Conn.) also notched a top-40 finish with a time of 28:46 which was good for a 37th place finish.

The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday, September 20th when they travel to the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, starting at 10:30 a.m.
