Men's Cross Country Finishes 3rd At RWU Invitational

The men's cross country squad notched a third-place finish at the season-opening Roger Williams University Invitational, held at Colt State Park on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Adam Sachs (Ellicott City, Md.) notched a fourth place finish while sophomore Alex Melnick (Port Jervis, N.Y.) finished in 13th place for the Wildcats.  Sophomore Harold Hennesey (Bolton, Conn.) finished the course in 19th place while sophomore Brandon Au (Oxford, Conn.) was right behind him in 21st place.  Freshman Josh Letendre (Camas, Wash.) rounded out the top-five runners for JWU, recording a 49th place finish.

The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday, September 13th when they travel to Brunswick, Maine for the Bowdoin Invitational starting at 11:00 a.m.
