Men’s Cross Country Finishes Sixth At Emmanuel Saints Invitational

The Johnson & Wales University men's cross country squad notched a sixth place finish at the 8 th Annual Emmanuel Saints Invitational held at Franklin Park on Friday afternoon. The Wildcats finished with 162 team points while Babson captured the team championship with only 18 points on the day.

Senior Brian Dinan (Geneva, N.Y.) was the top finisher for JWU, running the 8K course in a time of 27:35 which was good for an 11 th place finish. Freshman Adam Sachs (Ellicott City, Md.) clocked in at 28:02 which placed him 18 th while freshman Brandan Au (Oxford, Conn.) recorded a time of 25:27 for a 47 th place finish.

The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday, November 2nd when they travel to Standish, Maine for the 2013 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship.
