Men’s Cross Country Takes 8th At Bruce Kirsh Cup

The men's cross country team recorded an eighth place finish at the Bruce Kirsh Cup, hosted by Franklin Pierce on Saturday afternoon.  Host Franklin Pierce home the team title with 39 points while the Wildcats finished with 214 points on the day.

Johnson & Wales was paced by freshman Adam Sachs (Ellicott City, Md.) who recorded a 37th place finish with a time of 19:18 over the 5K course.  Senior Brian Dinan (Geneva, N.Y.) was in 46th place in a time of 19:32 while freshman Alex Melnick (Port Jervis, N.Y.) notched a 76th place finish at 20:52.

Johnson & Wales will return to action on Saturday, September 21st when they travel to Dartmouth, Mass., for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational starting 11:00 a.m.
