Men’s Cross Country Places 7th At RWU Invitational

The men's cross country squad notched a seventh place finish at the Roger Williams Invitational, hosted at Colt State Park on Saturday.  The Wildcats finished the meet with 178 team points while Franklin Pierce took first place with 18 points on the day.

Freshman Adam Sachs led the way for Johnson & Wales with an 18th place finish, finishing the 5K race in a time of 17:19.  Senior Brian Dinan was in 25th place in a time of 17:35 while rookie Brendan Au was in 40th place in a time of 18:12.

Johnson & Wales will return to action on Saturday, September 21st when they travel to Dartmouth, Mass., for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational
