BOSTON -- A few plays down the stretch made the difference for the Johnson & Wales University men's volleyball team Thursday night. The Wildcats won their third match in a row with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-33) triumph at Emmanuel.
Of Note: The Saints got the first set to 23-22, but committed an error then Cameron Ponce came through with a kill on set point. Set three was 23-21 before the last of Jack Pincince's team-high 12 kills and a pair of Emmanuel errors.
The JWU offense was well distributed as four players had six or more kills. Pincince had his third double-digit kill game in his last five contests.
Ponce recorded a double-double with 15 assists and 12 digs.
The Wildcats were aided by Emmanuel service errors as the Saints committed 13 miscues to just two by JWU.
Up Next: JWU is on the road Saturday to take on Regis and Rivier.
