Wildcats Too Much for Dean 3-0

PROVIDENCE, RI – Day one of the Johnson & Wales University men's volleyball Invitational opened with the hosts cruising to victory. The Wildcats rolled past Dean College 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-11) on Friday.

Of Note:
A pair of aces by Giovanni Zabatta staked the Wildcats to a 13-2 lead to open the match. The Bulldogs got within 13-9 in the second set before Keiron Jeremiah rattled off seven points, including two aces.

JWU's serving was too much for Dean to handle as the Wildcats produced 14 aces. That also led the Bulldogs to hitting -.189 compared to JWU's .407 rate.

More than half of the Wildcats' 35 kills came from the tandem of Jack Pincince and Michael Foglia as they had 12 and nine, respectively.
