Men's Tennis Grabs First Win Of Season, 100th For Kitterick

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Senior Alex Rohana and senior doubles partner Franz Fonck led the Wildcats to their first win of the fall season, a 9-0 shutout over Wentworth. The victory was the 100th of Coach Devin Kitterick's career combined with the JWU men's and women's programs.

JWU: 1-1

WIT: 1-1

 

Of Note:

The Wildcats got out to an early lead, taking all three matches in doubles play.

Junior Gianni Rodrigues clinched the victory for the Wildcats with a 6-0, 6-1 win.

Rohana followed his doubles success with 6-1, 6-0 win in singles play before Fonck closed out the match for JWU with a 7-5, 6-0 win.
