WINTHROP, Mass. – In both singles and doubles, Alexander Rohana and Franz Fonck were consistently the top performers for the Johnson & Wales University men's tennis team. The duo was recognized for their efforts with a spot on the All-GNAC squads.
Rohana earned First-Team All-GNAC singles accolades while Fonck was a Second-Team All-GNAC singles selection.
It's the second year in a row that Rohana has garnered First-Team All-GNAC honors. This season he posted an 8-8 singles record, but did go 4-1 during conference action. Rohana was 8-6 at the number two singles spot.
In his first full season, Fonck tied for the team lead with an 11-2 record. He was 8-2 at number three singles, including a 3-1 conference mark.
Head coach Devin Kitterick's squad should be poised to get back into the GNAC Tournament next season as he returns his entire team for the 2019-20 campaign.
