Men’s Tennis Drops 7-2 Decision at Clark

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Johnson & Wales University men's tennis team opened the fall portion of its schedule on Wednesday. The Wildcats lost a 7-2 decision at Clark University.

Johnson & Wales lost all three doubles matches to the tune of 8-1.

Newcomer Steven Heizler won a third-set tiebreaker, 12-10, to prevail 5-7, 6-2, 1-0 at number four over Ian Levy. Junior Franz Fonck was the other winner as he beat Alex Hattenback, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 at number three.

The Wildcats are back on the court September 30 when they host Wentworth at 12 p.m.
