Providence, R.I. – The Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team hosted Anna Maria College on Saturday as the Wildcats looked to reamin undefeated in conference play. It was also senior day for Coach Kulik's club as the program celebrated the careers of seniors Alexi Flores, Jehan Baldiemaj, Erik Schneider, and Riley Spotton before kick off. This match would not disappoint the JWU fans as the Wildcats took the contest 10-0, and kept their momentum going forward in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.

The Wildcats were aggressive in this one early and often. Two minutes into the first half JP Rioux found the back of the net, his eighth of the season, off a corner from Riley Spotton. Rioux would also assist on two other goals throughout the match, pushing his point total to 22 on the year.
Nick Gutekunst also contributed heavily in this match as he notched two goals, one in the 33rd minute and the other in the 54th minute, along with two assists to boost his team leading 27th point of the 2019 campaign which lands him second in the conference.
Kevin Reilly and Jehon Balidemaj both scored their first career goals, as Reilly struck first with a goal in the 35th minute with a shot on the bottom right of the goal that zipped past the outstretched hands of the keeper. In the 44th minute, Balidemaj headed in his goal with a cross put up by Szymon Gawlick on a corner.
The Wildcats outshot Anna Maria 36 to 1 and the corners were controlled by JWU 10-0.
The Wildcats continue their conference work on Wednesday when they host the Univeristy of Saint Joseph's C.T. for an 4 p.m. start time at the Scotts Miracle Gro Athletic Complex in Providence, R.I.
