
New London N.H. – The Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team traveled to New Hampshire for a conference show down with Colby Sawyer College on Saturday. The Wildcats found themselves in a defensive struggle as the Chargers pushed them to the limit. A lone goal for JWU in the first half was the difference which secured the victory for the Wildcats in the Granite State.

The match between the Chargers and Wildcats was a defensive grind as both teams had opportunities only to be turned away through tough pressure.
JP Rioux found the net in the 24th minute of the first half from a through ball from Riley Spotton that gave the lead to Johnson & Wales. Rioux's goal would be enough as the Wildcats were able to hold off the Chargers and take the conference win.
The Wildcats were outshot by the Chargers 12 to 11, while corner opportunities were held by JWU 10 to 6.
