Providence, RI – The Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team tallied their second win of the season with relentless pressure on a scrappy Lesley College squad. The Wildcats played much of the match in Lynx territory, capitalizing with a couple of goals in the first half and one in the second for the 3-0 result.

Johnson & Wales: 2-1
LC: David Crutchfield (L, 2-2) 4 saves
JWU: Austin Scoggin (W, 2-1) 1 save
The Wildcats got on the board early when Alexi Flores assisted Nick Gutekunst from 20 yards out at the 25th minute in the first half. It's Gutekunst's second goal of the year and 23rd of his Wildcat career.
After an electric shot attempt from Gutekunst from nearly mid-field, which was deflected by a tremendous save by the Lynx keeper David Crutchfield, Shox Madjidov got his first goal of the season and first goal of his Wildcat career with a laser from 13 yards out.
Garrett Groeling landed his second goal of the year with a capper in the 82nd minute of the second half that put the Wildcats in the driver's seat until the final horn.
The Wildcats go back on the road as they take the local ride to Roger Williams for a 1:00 PM affair on Saturday.
