Gutekunst Secures Wildcats Victory over Rams, 2-1
PROVIDENCE, RI – Down one to nil early in the match, the Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team rebounded to get a key conference win at Suffolk on Saturday . Nick Gutekunst scored twice as the Wildcats prevailed, 2-1.

Of Note:
After Suffolk grabbed a 1-0 lead three minutes into the match, the Gutekunst produced the equalizer at the 18:19 mark of the first half, with an assist from Richard Africo
 
The game-winning goal came in the 60th minute. The rebound of Teagan Drake's shot found Gutekunst and he struck it home from 25-yards out. The East Northport, NY, native leads the Wildcats with 13 points.
 
Adam Cassidy was between the pipes for JWU and turned away six shots, five in the second half, for his first win as a Wildcat.
 
The shot advantage went to Johnson & Wales, 16-10, as well as corners, 4-1.
