Hawks Fly in the Second Half to Down Wildcats 2-1
PROVIDENCE, RI –  The Johnson & Wales University men's soccer team scored first, but it was Roger Williams that rallied for the victory.  The Hawks scored a pair of second half-goals and thwarted a last-minute push by the Wildcats for the 2-1 victory on Sunday.

Of Note:
JWU scored first on a beautiful header from Teagan Drake in the 1st minute with the assist coming from Richard Africo.
 
The Wildcats held the Hawks scoreless till the 66th minute when Stathi Panagiotidis took a shot from the top of the box that ricocheted off a defender's heel and past JWU keeper Nick Mancini.

Jacob Grant gave Roger Williams the lead with a goal in the 84th minute. 
 
In the 90th minute, JWU's Riley McNicholas attempted a header right in front of the goal that was caught by Hawks goalie Edmund Geschickter to secured the win. 
 
The Hawks out-shot the Wildcats, 20-10, while JWU had the advantage in corners 6-2.

The Wildcats return to action Wednesday when they host Endicott College at 7pm.
