
NEWTON, Mass. - The Johnson & Wales University men's lacrosse team fell to the Lasell College Lasers on Tuesday afternoon, 14-4. Lasell finished the game by outscoring the Wildcats, 9-2, in the second half.

The Lasers opened the game with two goals in the first quarter including a man-up score. The Wildcats got their first goal of the afternoon from Erik Lindaas, his team-leading 30th goal of the season, five minutes into the second quarter.
Tyler Drago cut the lead in half with 4:44 remaining in the first half with his JWU-rookie leading 17th goal. JWU went into the intermission trailing, 5-2.
The Lasers put the game out of reach by outscoring the Wildcats 7-0 in the third quarter.
Lasell held the advantage in shots, 43-30, and groundballs 46-13.
