
MILTON, Mass. - The Johnson & Wales University men's lacrosse team fell to the Curry College Colonels on Friday night, 16-7. Curry finished the game with eight unanswered goals to secure the nonconference victory.

Of Note:
Ben Farrell scored the lone Wildcat goal of the first quarter as JWU trailed 3-1 after the opening 15 minutes.
Matt Gelb and Tyler Drago added second quarter goals to pull JWU within 4-3 three minutes into the frame, but the Colonels answered with three goals to take a 7-3 halftime lead.
Two man-up goals started a four-goal run in the third quarter that was capped by Erik Lindaas' team-leading 29th goal with 1:01 left in the frame to make it a 9-7 contest. Unfortunately, that was JWU's last goal of the game as the Colonels scored seven goals in the final quarter.
The Colonels held the advantage in shots, 56-35, and groundballs 36-15.
