NEW LONDON, Conn. Twentieth-ranked Connecticut College got out to a fast start and never looked back. The Camels defeated the Johnson & Wales University men's lacrosse team, 19-2, on Monday.

Connecticut College took a 7-0 lead 10 minutes into the first quarter. The Camels went into the locker room leading 12-2.
When the Wildcats got on the board, it was a historic goal. Senior Eric Russo scored at the 3:30 mark of the first quarter for the 100th goal of his collegiate career.
The Camels outshot the Wildcats, 64 to 27, while also having the advantage for faceoffs (22 of 25) and ground balls (45 to 22).
The Wildcats are back at home on Wednesday to take on New England College at 6 p.m.
