Eric Graham

With experience as an NCAA Division III student-athlete and coach, Eric Graham is a natural fit for Johnson & Wales University. He was named the department’s next men’s ice hockey coach as announced by Associate Dean of Students and Executive Director of Athletics Mel Graf.

Graham comes to Johnson & Wales from Bowdoin College where he served as an assistant coach for the last three seasons. On the ice he was in charge of the Polar Bears’ defense while off ice duties included video analysis, recruiting, alumni relations and community service.

Prior to joining the Bowdoin staff, Graham spent four seasons as the head coach at North Yarmouth Academy. In his final season, the Panthers won 19 games, their most in over a decade, while advancing to the conference championship. In addition to running the NYA program, he also served as the NEPSAC Holt Commissioner.

Graham was a defenseman at the University of Southern Maine during his collegiate career. As a junior, he helped lead the Huskies to a number seven national ranking. He excelled in the classroom as a two-year ECAC East All-Academic selection and also served as the president for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He graduated from USM in 2009 with a degree in business administration and economics.
