Men’s Ice Hockey Garners 13 NEHC All-Academic Selections

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – Every year, the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team excels in the classroom. The Wildcats were recently recognized for their academic success with 13 student-athletes on the New England Hockey Conference All-Academic Team.

To be eligible for All-Academic recognition, a student must carry a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average and have completed one full-year at their current institution.

Norwich University led the way with 24 honorees and New England College followed closely behind with 21 recipients.

Five players picked up their second award, including juniors Graham Day, Tal Finberg, Craig Hessenius and Anthony Scarcella who have earned the award every year they are eligible. Men's ice hockey leads all JWU men's teams with a 3.38 team GPA.
