Wildcats Can’t Find Their Way Versus Beacons, Fall 6-2

PAWTUCKET, RI – Four second-period goals were too much for the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team to overcome against UMass Boston. The Wildcats lost a 6-2 decision to the Beacons on Friday.

Of Note:
It was nearly a scoreless first period until Andy Walker kept the puck in the JWU zone, passed it to Billy Grant who gave it back to Walker and he beat Mike Rockwell Jr. with 1:35 left in the period.

The Beacons added three more goals before Johnson & Wales got on the board. Jake Glod put a shot on net and Graham Day was there to collect the rebound and score.

UMass Boston kept the heat on Rockwell all night, outshooting the Wildcats 47-11.
