
HENNIKER, N.H. – Three goals spanning the first and second periods allowed New England College to pull away from the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team. The Pilgrims defeated the Wildcats, 10-3 on Saturday.

Of Note:
New England College struck for the first three goals, but the Wildcats got a pair within 33 seconds of each other.
Anthony Scarcella got JWU on the board at the 13:41 mark then Conor Cassidy followed with another goal.
The Pilgrims got a power play goal with 67 seconds left in the first period then another score with the extra attacker at the 5:35 mark.
NEC's ability to convert on the power play was the difference as they scored six times while JWU was down a skater.
