#4 Norwich too Much for JWU Men’s Ice Hockey

PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Any hopes the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team had of upsetting fourth-ranked Norwich University faded away during a four-goal second period. The Wildcats dropped a 7-3 decision to the Cadets on Saturday.

Of Note:
Jordan Hall struck for the first of his two goals at the 4:23 mark of the first period. The Cadets scored the first of their two power play goals halfway through the opening frame.

The Cadets sandwiched two goals around a Matt Bernot score to take a 6-1 advantage after two periods. Bernot has scored at least one point in five of his last six games.

Colby Downs found the back of the net twice for Norwich during a two-minute stretch to end the second period.

Johnson & Wales got a pair of goals in the third period, including the first collegiate goal of Aaron Garrison's career.
