Of Note:
New England College broke open the scoring three-quarters of the way through the first period. Former Wildcat Trevor Momot redirected JP Cauvin's slap shot past JWU netminder Mike Rockwell Jr.. Momot factored into the second goal when his pass led to a one-timer by Connor Inger just 1:20  into the second period

Trailing 3-0 in the second half,  the Wildcats got on the board on Matt Gulack's first career goal. Danny Allen's cross-ice pass found Gulack in front of the net and he tapped it in for the score.

Even though the Wildcats were outshot, 43-32, JWU had several good scoring opportunities that were turned away by NEC goaltender Anthony Pupplo.
