SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – A goal by Skidmore College midway through the second period ended up being the game winner. The Thoroughbreds held on to defeat the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team, 2-1, on Saturday.

Of Note:
Just before the end of the first period, Johnson & Wales got the tying goal from Bryan Colburn with the assist to Craig Hessenius and Connor Bechtel.

Tim Allen got the game-winner at the 10:27 mark of the second period.

Skidmore had a slight 34-29 advantage in shots.

With the loss, the season came to a close for the Wildcats.

Year two in the NEHC should be a stronger one for head coach James LaCour as he brings back eight of his top 10 point scorers from this season.
