Strong Third Period Sends #8 UMass Boston Past Wildcats 5-2

BOSTON – Three third-period goals in the span of four minutes turned the tide on the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team. The Wildcats dropped a 5-2 decision to eighth-ranked UMass Boston on Saturday.

Of Note:
A second-period power play allowed the Wildcats to get out to a 1-0 lead. Ryan Sete scored his fourth goal of the year off the assists from Chad Guderian.

Tied at 1-1 going into the third period, UMass Boston scored three times in the span of 3:47 to break the game open.

UMass Boston had a 46-14 advantage in shots.
