PAWTUCKET, RI.– The Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team found themselves on the wrong end of a high scoring game on Friday. Skidmore College controlled the ice for much of the night as they defeated the Wildcats, 7-3.

The first period was almost scoreless until Skidmore struck for two goals in the last 32 seconds from Austin Rook and Corey Morgan.
The Thoroughbreds came out with two more goals in the first five minutes of the second period before Ryan Sete got JWU on the board with his second goal of the year at the 7:56 mark.
Unfortunately, Skidmore put the game out of reach with two more tallies in the second period, including Owen Campbell's second goal of the night.
Skidmore doubled up the Wildcats with a 39-18 shot advantage.
The Wildcats continue their homestand Saturday as they host #12 Hobart at 4 pm at the Lynch Arena in Pawtucket, RI.
