PAWTUCKET, RI. – The Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team got out to a fast start Saturday against 14th-ranked Babson College. Unfortunately, the Wildcats couldn't sustain that momentum as they dropped a 5-1 contest to the Beavers.

JWU struck first as Jordon Stone landed his first goal of the season just 55 seconds into the first period.
The Beavers tied it up in the sixth minute of the first period and took the lead in the second period with two goals including a power play score by Christian Faggas in the 15th minute.
The Beavers won the shooting battle, 36-25.
The Wildcats travel to Assumption College on Tuesday for a 7:35 pm puck drop.
