PAWTUCKET, RI – A second-period outburst was more than enough scoring for sixth-ranked Endicott. The Gulls defeated the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team, 8-0, on Saturday.
Endicott improved to 10-1 and 9-0 in the CCC. Johnson & Wales falls to 4-9 and 3-6 in the league.
Daniel Kucerovy started the scoring just 1:30 into the second period. The Gulls took advantage of the extra skater, scoring three power-play goals in the second frame. Josh Bowes scored two goals and assisted on another during the period.
Johnson & Wales is off until the New Year when it faces Stonehill on January 6.
