MORRISVILLE, NY – A pair of second-period goals made the difference for the Johnson & Wales University men's ice hockey team. The Wildcats tied their season-high for goals as they defeated Morrisville State, 4-2, on Saturday.

JWU: Mike Rockwell (4-5) 36 Saves, 2 Goals
The Wildcats didn't waste any time getting on the board as Ryan Sete (Jackson, Mich.) scored 32 seconds on the game. It's the fastest JWU goal to start a game in the last five years.
Victor Carlsson (Calmar, Sweden) pushed the lead to 2-0 with his second goal of the year at the 5:54 mark of the second period. He leads the team with 10 points.
The Mustangs got a pair of power-play goals, but Chad Guderian's (Coppell, Texas) score at the 13:19 mark of the second period proved to be the game-winner.
Johnson & Wales is back at home on Thursday when it takes on Curry at 6:55 pm.
