Men’s Ice Hockey Goes on the Road to Beat Becker 4-0

WORCESTER, Mass. – After giving up third-period leads in its last two games, the Johnson & Wales University men's hockey team put an opponent away. The Wildcats picked up a key conference victory with a 4-0 decision at Becker College on Thursday.

Of Note:
Johnson & Wales jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period. Freshman Graham Day (Rochester, Mich.)  recorded a point for the fifth game in a row when he scored just 5:50 into the contest. Day has three goals in his last four contests.

In the closing minutes of the opening frame, Ryan Sete (Jackson, Mich.) found the back of the net with 2:36 remaining for his first goal of the season.

For good measure, Sete added an insurance goal in the third period. His score at the 13:26 mark gave the junior the first multi-goal game of his career.
