Jupiter, F.L. – The Johnson & Wales University men's golf team concluded their second day of The Atlantic Invitational, and their fall season, on Tuesday as they competed on the Jupiter Country Club Golf Course in Jupiter, Florida. The Wildcats shot a second day 313 for a tournament total of 630 and a fourth place finish at the event.
Babson College was able to hold of Allegheny for the top finish in the tournament. The Beavers, ranked 20th in the country, shot a second day 289 for a total of 588 and a 15 shot victory over Allegheny. The Gators shot a 302 on their second day and finished with a 603. Central College (IA) notched a day two 308 for a total of 621 and concluded five strokes ahead of the Wildcats.
JWU's Hunter DiLorenzo duplicated his day one score of 77 and finished 11th with a 154. Justin Lavoie shaved five strokes off his initial outing and shot a 75. His total of 155 finished tied for 12th overall. Nico Ciolino shot a day two score of 77 and his total of 156 was good for a tie for 14th. Mac Patch bettered his score by five strokes with his second day score of 76. Ryan Malloy shot an 80 while his teammate Matt Daley shot an 84. Alex Parente and Christian Maselli finished their days with matching 83s.
The Wildcats will resume play in April for their Spring season.
