Jupiter, F.L. – The Johnson & Wales University men's golf team took to the Jupiter Country Club Golf Course for The Atlantic Invitational on Monday where they competed in the sunny, southern weather. The Wildcats shot a 317 on day one as they battled Babson, Allegheny, and Central College (IA) in the sunshine state.
Johnson & Wales finished the first day four shots back of Central College (IA) who shot a 313. Babson led the field with a 299 as Allegheny is closely behind as they are two back from the leader with a 301.
Johnson & Wales was led by Hunter DiLorenzo on the opening round with a 77 that has him currently tied for tenth. Nico Ciolino sits at 14th with his opening 79. Matt Daley and Justin Lavoie are tied for 15th with their matching scores of 80. Meanwhile, Alex Parente, Mac Patch, and Ryan Malloy are all tied for 17th with identical scores of 81. Christian Maselli rounded out the team with an opening round of 83.
