For the last 14 seasons, Rich DiLascio has been a vital member of the Johnson & Wales University men's basketball team, either in a uniform or a suit and tie. A leader during his playing days, the 2019-20 season marks DiLascio's 10th as a member of the coaching staff.
DiLascio played an instrumental part in the Wildcats' run to NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in 2016 as well as the 2018 GNAC Championship. He is involved in facets of the team's development, including scouting, game planning and recruiting. He played a major role in the recruitment of All-American Quarry Greenaway.
In his first year on staff, the Wildcats advanced to the 2011 NCAA Tournament and picked up the first NCAA win in school history. Johnson & Wales won the 2014 ECAC Championship.
During his playing time at JWU, DiLascio was a leader on and off the court. He played in 82 games and served as captain his senior year.
